Registration for Participation in the Rally
From 4 pm to 11 pm Deerfield Valley Rotarians will be registering sleds and owners and other partipants at the Sitzmark Lodge & Resturant in Wilmington, Vermont as well as the Matterhorn Inn in West Dover, Vermont.
The Sitzmark is located on Dover Road in Wilmington, just off Route 100 and on the left approximately 800 feet. The Sitzmark Restaurant and bar will be open. The Matterhorn Inn is located at 248 Route 100 across from the Fire Station. The Restaurant and bar will also be open.
Every sled must be registered and licensed in Vermont and well as having a VAST permit. A Vermont registration and VAST permit may be obtained at the Deerfield Valley Snowmobile registration point of entry to Wilmington on Route 9 and Route 100 just East of th Wilmington Village.
Registration for the Eat, Ride, Enjoy Rally is $85.00 per sled and driver plus $20.00 for additional drivers. The registration fee allows the driver and sled to participate for the Poker Run plus enjoy at no additional cost lunch at North Airport during the event and the Saturday evening Pig and Turkey Roast. A total of $1500 in purses will be awarded to winners. Early registration before March 5th will be $75.00. A 10% discount will be accorded to all Rotary members.

Get up early and take a deep breath of the crisp air. Although there are various excellent restaurants through out the Mount Snow region, we recommend the Matterhorn Inn & Restaurant in West Dover on Route 100. Along with last minute information the Matterhorn offers a full breakfast including an indulgent calorie blasting 10 egg Polish Omelet or 4-6 inch stack of pancakes with real Vermont Maple Syrup. The Matternhorn is located on a VAST trail. The Restaurant opens at 7 am and serves until 9:30 am.
The Snowmobile Rally Poker Run begins at the Sitzmark Inn & Restaurant at 9:00 AM. Participants need not start off at 9:00 AM as the purpose is to collect a designated number of tokens before 5 PM on Saturday.
Late registration at the Sitzmark for Vast licensed sleds begins at 9:00 am previous to the Snowmobile’s Poker Run. Vast Licenses can be obtained at the Vast Registration shack on Route 9, just east of Wilmington Village.
Rotarians will serve a free lunch of hamburgers and Chicago style Hot Dogs at North Airport in West Dover adjacent to the Mount Snow Country Club on Country Club Road including a 1 lb hamburger for an extra $4.00.
On Saturday night sled owners and registrants are invited to join Rotarions at the Matterhorn Inn for an old fashion pig and Turkey Leg roast at no additional charge. The bar will be open for your personal enjoyment.
For those who cannot make the free old fashion Pig and Turkey Leg Roast we recommend 100 North Restaurant on Route 100 in West Dover where along with an evenings menu of fine steaks you can indulge in a 21 ounce Pork Chop dinner with 6 very large Shrimp especially prepared for Snowmobilers and their guests. Also that evening on Handle Road/Cold Brook Road in Wilmington the Hermitage will offer a full American menu of fine Vermont enhanced meals in a leisurely setting. Hermitage and 100 North menu items are not free, but be truly enjoyable.
The Matterhorn, 100 North, The Hermitage Inn and North Airport can be accessed from a VAST trail.
